As a Senior Associate of Hogan Lovell's Intellectual Property, Media and Technology (IPMT) Group, Yu-An works with a team of international IP lawyers to assist multinational companies on procuring, protecting and enforcing intellectual property rights in Greater China and the APAC region.
Yu-An has broad experience in advising and litigating on intellectual property matters with a focus on brand protection, copyright, and unfair competition in China. He also regularly advises on intellectual property aspects of multi-jurisdictional commercial transactions, assisting clients with intellectual property licensing and transfers, and performing due diligence audits. Since he joined Hogan Lovells in 2006, Yu-An has acted for various IP owners in the region, including consumer brands in the retail industries, as well as technology, healthcare, education and toy companies.
