Mathieu Bringer is a French Intellectual Property Attorney with around 20 years of practice including 4 years in P.R China. He holds a PhD in data processing, a master degree in engineering, and is graduated top ranked from CEIPI law school. He has founded BRINGER IP law firm in 2016 (boutique firm of 7 attorneys and experts – ranked tier 1 by Legal 500) after serving for more than 15 years in various Intellectual property law firms in Europe and in Asia. He has lived and work abroad for nearly 20 years among which 12 years in Asia (Shanghai, Hanoi and Hong-Kong).
Mathieu counsels a large variety of organizations in terms of intellectual property (corporations, SMEs, Research centers) for defining international tailored IP strategies; drafting patent applications; following examination proceedings; filing oppositions against competitors patents; performing FTOs analysis; undertaking infringement actions; organizing transfers of IP rights; dealing with trademark issues in the Asian region; negotiating cross-borders licenses and monetizing IP rights. Mathieu is also an IP expert of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Academy based in Geneva.
