European Chamber of Commerce in China

European Chamber of Commerce in China

The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China serves as the voice of European business in China and will be the main visibility partner for the project in the eyes of business in the target region. Maximum exposure will be assured by involving the Chamber’s seven chapters across China in the service delivery and by engaging with experts and related SME support and intermediary groups and IP related projects, particularly in China. With 1,800 members, of which 536 are SMEs, the European Chamber is aware of the issues facing companies on the ground in China and can provide practical solutions to advance their business in China. The European Chamber comprises 45 sector-specific and horizontal working groups which include both SME and IPR Working Groups in Beijing and Shanghai active since 2000 and 2003 respectively. The European Chamber works closely with Member State Embassies, national chambers of commerce, industry and IP associations, and the European Delegation in China and Brussels on IP related work.
