European IP Helpdesk Bulletin / February 2022: Green Deal

Climate change and environmental degradation are two major threats to human existence and require an urgent and ambitious response. To overcome these challenges, the European Commission first presented the European Green Deal in 2019 aiming to boost the efficient use of resources by moving to a clean, circular economy and improve the well-being and health of citizens and future generations. With this Bulletin edition we take a look at the Green Deal from an IP perspective, spotlighting some of the recent developments and discussions related to IP and the green transition process.
