The Latin American Healthcare market is growing in the pharmaceutical industry as well as in medical equipment, devices and consumables. For the year 2018, healthcare spending in Latin America is estimated at 7.20% of GDP.
The Healthcare sector is a highly innovative and challenging industry where ground-breaking products and technologies are needed to stay ahead of the competition. Research and development efforts on pharmaceutical products, medical technologies, equipment and devices are protected from unlawful copy, misappropriation or even loss of the right by different IP rights or mechanisms, such as Patents, Trade Secrets or Industrial Designs.
