Description
What is the new reality that the digital age brings to the development, sustainability and profitability of small and medium enterprises? Structural features of modern reality certainly include Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, Industry 4.0, Advanced Analytics, Internet of Things (IoT) and intelligent process automation. At the heart of all of this is effective data management which translates into validity, accuracy, security, efficiency and reliability in the operation of modern businesses.
SMBs can now collect, analyze and visualize data to gain valuable insights into their operations. In addition, the decision-making process is now based exclusively on their "smart" data management tools: Intake of new data, classification, sharing, archiving, disposal and security.
In all these functions, adopting the right data management strategy and integrating the right data management tools is a one-way street. How ready are SMEs to identify market opportunities at national and local level? To what extent are company managements informed about the usefulness of these management systems? Also, how trained are business personnel in using these data management tools? In which areas of a small and medium-sized business, can the introduction of data management technologies make a decisive contribution to the efficiency and effectiveness of the business?
In honor of International SME Day, JOIST Innovation Park is hosting an event to answer all questions above and to provide crucial information for these enterprises regarding data management. A representative will introduce the audience to the China and South-East Asia IP SME Helpdesks and provide a brief overview of data and IP regulations.
