Seminar | Common IP Mistakes SMEs Make in China, new date on 20-Oct

The Czech Chamber of Commerce Shanghai Office and the China IP SME Helpdesk jointly organise a seminar in Shanghai postpone to October 20. IP expert will share practical his expertise on the common IP mistakes SMEs make in China.

Intellectual property (IP) is the most valuable business asset SMEs have as it provides companies with comparative advantage over competitors and allows them to find their niche at the market. Appropriate IP protection and management can secure SMEs’ intangible assets and guarantee their success at the market. Likewise, poorly managed IP could mean the end of SMEs’ business endeavors in China.

Being successful means to have the proper IP strategy and the best way to create one is by learning from others’ mistakes. Learning what are the common mistakes other SMEs often make could help you avoid getting caught in  those most common IP traps as well as save you valuable time and costs of going through these mistakes yourself.

During this seminar, Mr. Matias Zubimendi, the IP Business Advisor at China IPR SME Helpdesk will cover the most common assumptions, misconceptions and mistakes that SMEs make related to IP when operating in China or before accessing China market. There will be a Q&A session at the end allowing SMEs to ask questions to the speaker.
