Road to South America: how to protect your business' creations through Intellectual Property

The webinar aims to give an overview to the European SMEs on how they can best protect their Intellectual Property on Latin-American markets (focused on Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay). 

During the webinar you can expect:

• Detailed overview of trademark, patent, design and copyright registration, protection and enforcement in Latin America, focused on Argentina, Chile and Uruguay.
• Overview on various possibilities of protecting the logo of the company or the brand, the inventions and other creations as patents or designs
• How to benefit from the Madrid System, the PCT and other international treaties
• Various case studies involving EU SMEs experiencing and overcoming issues with IP protection in the region

The event will feature a 15-minute presentation of the free EU funded services of the Latin America IP SME Helpdesk to the participating SMEs and BSOs.

The training session is jointly organized together with Arhipelago, Afaceri and the Enterprise Europe Network.
