Description
Intellectual property (IP) constitutes an important business and financial asset for SMEs as it provides with comparative advantage over competitors and protects a company's innovations. A comprehensive IP strategy is crucial for a company’s success when planning to enter the Chinese market, as neglecting IP could result in the loss of the company’s competitiveness.
The training aims to give an overview on how companies can protect and enforce their intellectual property rights in the Chinese markets, through best practice and case studies. The China IP SME Helpdesk expert, Tom Carver, will discuss IP issues that companies are likely to encounter in China, will provide best practice on how to monitor those issues and how to enforce IPRs. Attendees will be able to raise any questions during a final Q&A session.
