Description
The objective of the webinar is to present two measures accessible to Lombardy SMEs and aimed at financing the protection of intellectual property, answering the questions posed by the participants.
The two measures in question are the following:
Lombardy Region Patent Notice 2023: Opening on January 25th, overall budget of 2.5 million euros; finances activities functional to the filing of patent applications for an industrial invention at a European or international level or extension of applications previously filed at the Italian Patent and Trademark Office (UIBM) and subsequently extended to European Patent Office (EPO) and World International Property Organization (WIPO) until a search report is obtained from the body competent authority (EPO or WIPO). SMEs can access a non-repayable contribution in the form of a lump sum.
EUIPO SME Fund: Opening not yet defined (probable end of January next year), finances the partial reimbursement (in the form of non-repayable vouchers) of expenses related to the filing of trademarks, designs and models (through national, regional, European or international patents), patents at national or European level (including patent search services provided by the IP offices of the Member States) and the protection of Community Plant Varieties.
