Description
The investment Forum aims to create a hybrid platform for national institutions, commercial entities, EU private businesses and the EU Delegation to come together and identify efficient incentives, policies and initiatives that attract more investment from the EU private sector while enhancing Malawi’s business environment. The forum will provide a comprehensive analysis of relevant regulations, market trends, consumer preferences and actions taken by development partners, as well as insights into competitive landscapes and emerging opportunities within the agriculture, energy, and tourism sectors.
Attendees will be encouraged to engage in meaningful discussions that may present specific investment opportunities, facilitating connections between EU businesses and Malawi’s public administration, as well as potential private partners.
At the event, a representative from the Africa IP SME Helpdesk will be present in Lilongwe, Malawi, to provide support to potentially interested companies regarding their internationalisation processes, helping them avoid risks and raise awareness about the benefits of protecting their IP rights in Africa.
