Description
Over the last few years China’s IPR regime has changed by leaps and bounds. This includes the creation of the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) unifying the administration of patents and trademarks, as well as several amendments to IP laws, including the amended Patent Law and revisions to the Copyright Law, which came into force on the 1st of June 2021. Unfortunately, IP is still often discarded by SMEs, despite it being of crucial importance when entering complicated third markets such as China. During this training China IP SME Helpdesk expert Jörg-Michael Scheil will discuss recent legislative changes in China and their implications for EU businesses and will discuss best practices with regards to prevention and enforcement of IP infringements.
This training provides SMEs to get first-hand information from a renowned IP expert, and also ask questions regarding their products and/or innovations. 1-on-1 meetings of 20 minutes following the webinar can be booked separately. Please contact Timm Rohweder (timm [dot] rohwederhk24 [dot] de (timm[dot]rohweder[at]hk24[dot]de)) directly for further information.
The webinar is organized by the China IP SME Helpdesk in cooperation with the Hamburg and Bremen Chamber of Commerce.
