European Innovation Council Summit 2024

The International IP SME Helpdesks will attend the third edition of the EIC Summit, which is the European Innovation Council's flagship event, organised in the framework of the Research & Innovation week.

On day 2, 19 March, the event will be fully dedicated to EIC beneficiaries with workshops covering diverse issues for researchers and entrepreneurs, such as intellectual property rights, investments, or scaling up your company. The European IP Helpdesk will hold a workshop on "Teaming up for IP Excellence - IP Management and Valorisation Strategies" and will introduce the International IP SME Helpdesks as among the EU initiatives supporting SMEs in protecting and leveraging their intellectual property.

The R&I week also includes the Belgian Presidency event on Innovative Procurement, taking over from the EIC Summit on the late afternoon of 19 March and continuing until the afternoon of 20 March. After that, it’s the start of the Research and Innovation days providing a full R&I related programme, closing at the end of the 21^st of March.

The International IP SME Helpdesks representatives will attend the event to meet with entrepreneurs and discuss their plans to protect IP for their China market entry.
