Plant variety protection incentivizes innovation and is an essential tool to foster R&D for the benefit of society.

The webinar will be focused on the European Union Plant Variety Protection system and its role in the context of the current policy frameworks such as the EU Green Deal, the EU Farm to Fork strategy, and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The speaker will describe the main features of the system.
