The objective of this event is to facilitate exchanges of good practices between the EU and China on tackling the online sales of counterfeited goods, which will bring together the views from e-commerce platforms, the EU and Chinese government agencies, international organizations, the express delivery service providers, law firms and multinational enterprises.
This conference has been successfully held for three consecutive years (Xiamen, 2018) (Haikou, 2019) (Beijing, 2020). The event in 2021 is planned with various IP online protection/enforcement topics, namely: The new development of online IP protection; IP protection across the new forms of e-commerce; The role of internet intermediaries, IP online protection concerns and situations of various industries will also be discussed.
The EU and China have maintained a sound momentum of cooperation in intellectual property protection online in recent years, which is also due to the high participation of intermediaries such as e-commerce platforms, social media platforms etc.
China IP SME Helpdesk team will attend the conference. The IP Business Advisor provides his practical advise on any China intellectual property right related questions during Q&A session.
