Description
This event will provide an opportunity for the EU, its Member States and European and Nigerian private companies to engage with the new administration on their investment strategies in an open and inclusive manner. The aim is to build trust and commitment to forge a strong and lasting partnership.
The Nigeria Business Forum will explore ways and means to establish a bilateral legal framework between the EU and Nigeria, with a view to ensuring certainty, stability and sustainability in the bilateral trade and investment ties. The event will feature a comprehensive programme including a full day conference, panel discussions, breakout sessions and the launch/signing of specific projects such as the EU Support for Agricultural Value Chain Development (EU-VACE) project and the European Investment Bank (EIB) funding for the Nigerian pharmaceutical company Emzor, as well as exhibitions and more.
At the event in Abuja, Nigeria, a representative of the Africa IP SME Helpdesk will be on hand to assist any potentially interested companies with their internationalisation processes, help them avoid risks and raise awareness of the benefits of protecting their IP rights in Africa.
