Description
The 3rd Hainan expo will be held from 11th April to 15th April in Haikou. The trade fair is jointly organised by Trade Development Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce and Hainan Provincial Bureau of International Economic Development. The total area of this year's expo will reach 100,000 square meters, with the international exhibition area covering 80,000 square meters.
This year's consumer expo will serve as a platform to optimise consumer supply, smooth consumer channels, boost consumer confidence, and shore up the dual-cycle development architecture with the domestic cycle as the mainstay and with domestic and international development reinforcing each other. The theme of this year’s expo is “Share open opportunities to create a better life”. During the expo, hundreds of well-known brands from China and abroad will release the latest high-quality products and designs.
Italy has been selected as the guest of honour of this year’s expo. Apart from Italy, exhibitors from Spain, Germany, Poland, and other EU countries are expected to participate. According to the organisers, over 3100 renowned brands from 60+ countries and regions are expected at the expo, as for the first time, overseas exhibitors can freely attend the expo.
The China IP SME Helpdesk team will attend the Hainan Expo in Haikou, presenting the Helpdesk’s free services to SME exhibitors from the EU and the countries participating in the Single Market Programme. The team will address exhibitor’s IP enquiries and offer advice on IP protection, management, and enforcement.
The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, managing the Italian Pavilion at the expo, has invited the China IP SME Helpdesk to hold a project introduction session at the Italian Pavilion. Other EU initiatives such as the EU SME Centre will also be featured at the expo.
