World Intellectual Property Day 2022: Innovating for a better future

Every 26 April, World Intellectual Property Day is celebrated. This year, the theme of World Intellectual Property Day is “IP and Youth: Innovating for a Better Future”. It celebrates how young people are stepping up to innovation challenges to create a sustainable future.

The youth of today are the innovators, the creators and the entrepreneurs of tomorrow through their ingenuity, creativity, energy and curiosity. World Intellectual Property Day 2022 is an opportunity for young people to gain better understanding of how intellectual property (IP) rights can support their ambitions and help them to make a difference.  

All young inventors are encouraged to be involved in this year’s campaign to find out how the tools of IP can help transform their ideas into reality.
