WIPO Announces: Applications for the WIPO Global Health Innovation Fellowship Are Now Open

The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) has announced a call for applications for the WIPO Global Health Innovation Fellowships. These fellowships aim to promote innovation in the field of global health by providing selected candidates with an opportunity to gain valuable insights, knowledge, and skills related to intellectual property (IP) and innovation.

The WIPO Global Health Innovation Fellowship presents a distinctive and captivating chance for emerging researchers and entrepreneurs to collaborate with the Department of Biotechnology under the Ministry of Science and Technology as an integral part of its Biodesign Program in India. As a fellow, the participants be granted a two-year residency at the campuses of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) situated in New Delhi or Mumbai. This unique opportunity provides an immersive environment for fostering innovation and collaboration at the intersection of health and technology.

Through this program, WIPO seeks to foster collaboration between professionals in the health sector and those with expertise in IP and innovation. The fellows will have the chance to engage in training, workshops, and networking activities to enhance their understanding of how IP can contribute to addressing global health challenges.
