Vietnam: New circular on industrial property rights issued following the implementation of the amended intellectual property law and guiding decree

On 30 November 2023, the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) officially issued Circular No. 23/2023/TT-BKHCN ("Circular 23"), providing detailed guidance on several articles of the Vietnamese Intellectual Property (IP) Law 2022 ("2022 IP Law") and instructions on implementing measures under Decree 65/2023/ND-CP ("Decree 65") concerning establishing and safeguarding industrial property rights (IPR).
