Treaties of Nice and Locarno to enter into force soon in Paraguay

As the Latin America IP SME Helpdesk informed last November, Paraguay adhered to both the Nice and Locarno Agreement. that said, WIPO (here and here) has just confirmed when will both treaties enter into force in Paraguay: 31 August 2021.

- The Nice Agreement establishes a classification of goods and services, for the purposes of registering trade marks and service marks (the Nice Classification).

- The Locarno Agreement establishes a classification for industrial designs (the Locarno Classification).
