Thailand Remains on USTR Special 301 Report Watch List Progress Continues on Improving Intellectual Property Protection and Enforcement

In May 2022, Thailand’s Department of Intellectual Property (DIP) announced Thailand would remain on the United States Trade Representative (USTR) Special 301 Report Watch List of “Priority Foreign Countries” that are judged to have inadequate protection and enforcement of intellectual property (IP) rights. The Report details USTR’s findings on more than one hundred trading partners, following significant research and enhanced engagement with stakeholders.
