Submit Your Nominations for the EPO's European Inventor Award 2023

Launched by the European Patent Office (EPO) in 2006, the annual European Inventor Award celebrates outstanding inventors, giving them the recognition they deserve. And doing so, it also helps raise awareness of the role of IP in encouraging innovation.

Last year’s edition of the European Inventor Award showcased various ground-breaking innovations, from new approaches to music, or promising treatments against cancer. Plus, the introduction of the Young Inventors prize helped shine a spotlight on young innovators and their solutions to address the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. 

The European Inventor Award and the  Young Inventors prize offer a unique platform to introduce the brightest minds and their ideas to a wider audience. You can now nominate candidates for the 2023 European Inventor Award or the Young Inventors Prize 2023 through the EPOs online nomination form. The deadline for submissions is Monday, 3 October 2022.
