Prize Winners of the Plagiarius Competition 2024

Since 1977, Aktion Plagiarius e.V. has been awarding its anti-prize, the "Plagiarius," to manufacturers and distributors identified by the jury as guilty of producing or selling "the most flagrant" imitations. The objective is to expose the unethical business practices of counterfeiters who infringe upon intellectual property rights by presenting them as their own original creations.

Aktion Plagiarius offers comprehensive information about the objectives and initiatives, along with opportunities to raise awareness among the employees, sales partners, or clients through our engaging Plagiarius Exhibitions (featuring original vs. fake products) and informative, hands-on lectures addressing the issue of brand and product piracy. The damages incurred by brand-name producers are substantial, as are the significant risks posed to consumers.

The jury met on December, 2023 and awarded three main prizes, two new special awards and four distinctions that are equal in rank.
