Position trade marks can be registered now at INPI Brazil

As of 1st October 2021, the registration of position trade marks is available at INPI Brazil. By using the e-INPI filing system, users shall use the form for tridimensional trademarks, indicating that it is a position trademark application until the system provides a specific form for it.

Defined by INPI itselt: "A position trade mark is considered to be the application of a distinctive sign in a singular and specific position of a certain support, dissociated from any technical or functional effect."
