Paraguay launches sound trade mark repository

The National Directorate of Intellectual Property of Paraguay (DINAPI) has launched the National Repository of Sound Trademarks, a digital tool that allows users to search and listen to registered sound trademarks. This makes it easier for companies and entrepreneurs to verify the originality of their distinctive signs before filing an application. 

According to DINAPI, 14 registrations of this type have already been granted, reflecting the growing interest in differentiating brands through sound.
