Out Now: New IP Special "Knowledge Valorisation in R&I Collaborations"

European IP Helpdesk team has just published a new thematic package focusing on “Knowledge Valorisation in R&I Collaborations” It includes a variety of helpful resources that explore the valorisation of research results and scientific knowledge in further detail.

“Successful Valorisation of Knowledge and Research Results in Horizon Europe” and “Your Guide to Intellectual Property Management in Horizon Europe” are two IP Guides covered in the new Special. The first guide helps clarify different concepts and terminology by briefly introducing key pillars of the EU’ knowledge valorisation policy before illustrating the differences between communication, dissemination and exploitation activities as well as the areas they have in common. The second one aims to spotlight critical aspects and novelties related to IP management in the context of collaborative research and innovation projects funded under Horizon Europe. New IP Special also contains two dedicated articles “The EU Valorisation Policy - Putting Horizon Europe into Perspective” and “Leveraging Innovation Through Collaboration” that has been published in the “les Nouvelles”, the official journal of the Licensing Executive Society International (LESI). The final item of the package is a recording of the latest Horizon IP Scan info session introducing the first-line IP support service specifically designed to help European start-ups and other SMEs involved in EU-funded collaborative research projects.
