The Dominican Republic's National Industrial Property Office (ONAPI) has inaugurated the Technology and Innovation Support Centre (CATI) at the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD), in order to provide innovators, researchers and entrepreneurs with easier access to information on industrial property. This initiative aims to boost the country through intellectual property and technological innovation.
CATI offers a wide range of services, including technical information searches in the patent database, guidance on industrial property, advice and assistance in filing patent and industrial design applications, specifically for the university community.
