New survey on the EU Knowledge Valorisation Platform to develop code of practice for smart IP use

Launched in mid 2021, the EU Knowledge Valorisation Platform enables the sharing of best practices, knowledge and expertise with the goal of improving policies and enhancing capacities and skills. Most importantly, the platform wants to foster the broad uptake of research results in society and the economy. To this end, intellectual property experts and other interested stakeholders are now asked to express their interest in becoming part of a community of practice which will contribute to a code of practice for the smart use of intellectual property.

The code of practice will be a bottom-up initiative co-created through the joint forces of a broad range of Research and Innovation (R&I) stakeholders. Its objective is to provide support to R&I stakeholders via recommendations and practical examples on how to handle challenges related to intellectual assets in the current R&I context (e.g. results co-ownership, skills development, valuation, international projects etc.).

To get a chance of actively shaping the code of practice, express your interest until 14 January 2022.
