New study reveals that Sectors that make use of IP represented 55% of the GDP in Peru between 2015 and 2018

A study that has been carried out between the European project IP Key Latin America and the National Institute for the Defense of Competition and the Protection of Intellectual Property (INDECOPI) has revealed that the industries that most protect their intellectual property have productivity above the sector average, representing more than 55% of the Peruvian GDP between the period 2015-2018.

74 of the 101 economic sectors in Peru are intensive in the use of IPR. Of these, 92% use trademarks intensively and 66% intensively use more than one IPR.
