New Manual on Types of TMs and distinctiveness of TMs in Absolute grounds in some CARIFORUM IP Offices

Last April, CarIPI published a manual on Types of Marks and Distinctiveness of Trade Marks.

This publication provides guidance for trade mark applicants and examiners on types of marks and assessing the distinctiveness of trade marks in the examination of absolute grounds, covering the following IP offices:  Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Belize, Cuba, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Grenada, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago and the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).
