The European Commission (EC) has launched a "Call for Evidence" to gather feedback on the development of the new European Innovation Agenda. All interested parties including citizens, national authorities, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), start-ups, entrepreneurs as well as the non-governmental sector are invited to provide feedback.
Five essential action points have been identified to improve Europe’s innovation performance. These points are: (1) Access to finance, (2) Regulatory sandboxes, (3) Innovation ecosystems, (4) Better Innovation Policy making, and (5) Talent.
With the newly developed agenda, the EC strives to better integrate initiatives and enable innovation in rapidly evolving fields for a more sustainable, digital and resilient future. The new agenda is expected to be adopted in summer 2022.
The feedback tool will be open until 10 May 2022.
