As part of the first anniversary since Brazil became a member of the Madril protocol, INPI Brazil has shown the promising numbers.
During this "Year One", 7.896 international requests were made using the Madrid Protocol indicating Brazil as a destination.
The Madrid System is a convenient and cost-effective solution for registering and managing trademarks worldwide. Users may file a single application and pay one set of fees to apply for protection in up to 122 countries.
