Keep up to date with IP legislation: Did you know about WIPO Lex Database?

Keeping up to date with legal developments in the intellectual property (IP) ecosystem is crucial. The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) offers the WIPO Lex Database, which provides free-of-charge access to legal information on intellectual property from around the world.

The Database includes 50.000 laws and is organized in three categories: IP laws and regulations, WIPO-administered treaties and IP‑related treaties, and IP judgments.

WIPO Lex also integrates artificial intelligence tools to translate the laws, treaties and judgements into several languages so that judges can have broader information how courts worldwide face legal issues. In addition, lawyers can get a clearer overview of other jurisdictions, legislators could learn from the experiences of other countries and students can have a better understanding of the latest developments in IP law.
