Just Released: The European Innovation Council Tech Report 2023

On 25 October, the European Innovation Council (EIC) has published the second EIC Tech Report which intends to inform future explorations of the EIC portfolio, mapping internal EIC data to global trends based on patents, publications, funding and investments.

EIC Tech Report 2023 showcases innovative technologies and innovations that have been submitted to the EIC as part of the Horizon Europe program. The report places a special focus on early-stage research projects that have received funding after undergoing rigorous evaluation by independent experts. Additionally, the report highlights certain technology areas that have received exceptional proposals but have not yet been funded by the EIC. It draws from a variety of sources, incorporating the perspectives and expertise of EIC Programme Managers, and covers a wide range of topics encompassing digital technologies, industry and space, cleantech, and health.
