Intellectual property (IP) has emerged as a critical element for the commercial success and competitiveness of numerous companies, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), in today's knowledge-driven economies. Therefore, when delivering services to SMEs, it is essential for all advisors within the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) to consistently consider intellectual property and its potential impact, as well as its implications for clients.
This new guide “IP Handbook: Providing IP Guidance Through the EEN Client Journey” is the result of a collaboration between the European IP Helpdesk Ambassadors scheme and members of the core group of the EEN Single Market Thematic Group with the support of the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA). It is created by intellectual property experts with the aim of providing all EEN advisors with guidance and support they can rely on in carrying out activities within the Enterprise Europe Network project.
