India is showing a progressive improvement by raising by two places on the Global Innovation Index 2021, and stands at the 46th position.
The various public initiatives and incentives incorporated during the year are giving birth to a vibrant start-up ecosystem and research by public and private organisations.
“The consistent improvement in the GII ranking is owing to the immense knowledge capital, the vibrant start-up ecosystem, and the amazing work done by the public and the private research organizations,” as communicated by the State-of-the-art Resource Centre, NITI Aayog.
