INDECOPI Peru launches register of copyright infringers

On 23 May, Peru's National Institute for the Defence of Competition and Intellectual Property (INDECOPI) launched an online register of individuals and companies sanctioned for copyright infringement. 

This initiative aims to make the sanctions imposed transparent and provide a tool for public consultation.

The register provides information on natural and legal persons sanctioned by INDECOPI for copyright infringements, such as the reproduction, distribution, and public communication of protected works without the author's consent. In this way, users can easily access this information and find out who has been fined for infringing their rights.
