INAPI updates patent examination guidelines

INAPI has provided users with two documents updating information on patent, utility models and designs guidelines, bearing into account the recent entry into force of Law 21.355 that modified the industrial property system in Chile.

One of the most relevant changes is that the new guidelines are divided into 2: one oriented to the examination of patent applications for inventions and utility models, and the second dedicated exclusively to industrial designs and drawings.
