With an eye on the modified Chilean Industrial Property Law that is about enter into force, there is a project on the table for new regulations yet to come.
The idea behind this project of new regulations is
- to move to the digitalisation of filing documentation,
- removal of misunderstandings in the old regulations,
- and introduce amendments in texts related to trade marks and geographical indications
(i.e. removal of the "graphical representation requirement")
