INAPI Chile adopts the new version 2022 of the Nice Classification, which has been adopted by the Committee of Experts of the Nice Union.
In accordance with INAPI Chile, these new changes vary from the inclusion of "cleaning and laundry robots, with artificial intelligence, for domestic use" to class 7, the incorporation of “personalized installation of exterior, interior and mechanical parts of vehicles [tuning]” to class 37, or the inclussion of more therapy services ("dance therapy", "music therapy", and "art therapy") under class 44.
The Nice Classification (NCL), established by the Nice Agreement (1957), is an international classification of goods and services applied for the registration of marks. A new edition is published every five years and, since 2013, a new version of each edition is published annually.
