Jointly organized by The European Patent Office (EPO) and the Licensing Executives Society International (LESI) and moderated by European IP Helpdesk’s Stephanie Weber, High-growth technology business (HTB) conference, held on 21 and 22 November, gave decision-makers in technology and growth-driven enterprises, and especially small and medium enterprises (SMEs), an opportunity to learn more about how intellectual property (IP) can support their business.
The virtual conference covered a wide range of topics around patent commercialisation, such as business model disruption, open innovation, IP management standards, global growth, the Unitary Patent, IP assessment, debt financing, risk management and freedom to operate.
The HTB conference was also accompanied by the virtual IP Business clinics, thanks to more than 50 mentors offering their support pro bono, giving the participants an opportunity to ask for advice on specific IP business issues around their innovation projects.
Key takeaways from the conference lectures as well as the recordings will be available soon on the HTB conference website and summary videos and publications will follow up.
