The European Commission has announced that registrations are now open for EU Knowledge Valorisation Week 2023 that brings together research and innovation (R&I) actors to exchange experiences, discuss current trends and challenges, and highlight valorisation opportunities with a wide range of stakeholders.
The event will provide an opportunity to explore the possibilities of the new pan-European initiative, the Guiding Principles for Knowledge Valorisation, which aims to turn research and innovation results into solutions more efficiently. The experts will also highlight the benefits of the brand-new European Codes of Practice on intellectual assets management and on standards.
The Week will feature three thematic days devoted to collaboration between industry and academia, management of intellectual property, and valorisation for sustainability.
Inspired by the European Year of Skills, the event will provide hands-on training for researchers, young innovators and anyone interested. On Friday, the European Patent Office (EPO), the European IP Helpdesk and the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) are offering free online courses to improve skills in intellectual assets management.
Participants will be able to join this event online through the registration system on Knowledge Valorisation Platform.
