EU & India Electric Vehicle Battery Recycling Technologies Exchange 2024

The Delegation of the European Union to India in cooperation with The Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser (O/o PSA) to the Government of India launched an Expression of Interest (EOI) for start-ups and SMEs operating in the EU in the domain of Electric Vehicle Battery Recycling Technologies. This call for start-ups is matched by a parallel initiative organised by the O/o PSA, scouting and selecting start-ups from India to meet at a joint matchmaking event with companies and investors interested in the battery recycling sector. The innovative ventures from the EU will pitch at a matchmaking event organised under the umbrella of the EU-India Trade and Technology Council (TTC).

Six start-ups will be selected based on the scores from the presentation round. These start-ups will be given an exclusive virtual platform to connect with industry leaders, potential investors, and collaborators from both India and the European Union. 

On 20 June 2024, the matchmaking event will be held, featuring pitching sessions and interactions with solution adopters and policymakers. Three start-ups will be invited to meet with potential partners, customers and collaborators in India based on the interactions during the Pitch Event and individual matchmaking.  Retained start-ups will be informed 2 months in advance to visiting India, allowing time for preparation.
