Dominican Republic removed from USTR's Special 301 IP Report

The Dominican Republic has been removed from the Special 301 Intellectual Property Watch List.

This report, issued by the Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR), is an annual assessment of the protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights in the United States' trading partner countries.

The removal from the Watch List highlights the progress made by the country in the IP area. This progress includes the implementation of enforcement measures to combat piracy, in particular concerning counterfeit medicines, as well as cooperation with international organisations to obtain training and technical assistance.
