CNR El Salvador and the General Directorate of Customs sign agreement on IP

The Executive Director of the National Registry Center (CNR), Camilo Trigueros, and the Director General of Customs of El Salvador (DGA), José Benjamín Mayorga, signed an important inter-institutional cooperation agreement on compliance with intellectual property.

CNR will provide DGA with the necessary information for the application of border measures to counterfeit products that are entering the country and that do not correspond to the rights holders, guaranteeing compliance with the laws and regulations that regulate the international traffic of goods.

This agreement is expected to increase positive compliance rates regarding the protection of intellectual property at the Salvadorian customs.
