The Circuit Court of Appeals may make IMPI Mexico change their stand regarding e-signatures

A new case at the Circuit Cour of appeals has stated that "although wet signatures create a legal bond between the parties that have entered into a contract, digital signatures allow them to perform commercial operations, particularly when they cannot be physically present".

So far, IMPI Mexico does not recognise some documents with e-signatures: power of attorney, assignment agreement and any other contracts between private parties.
