Chile has just formally ratified its inclussion in the international trade mark system (Madrid System).
The Madrid System is a convenient and cost-effective solution for registering and managing trademarks worldwide. Users may file a single application and pay one set of fees to apply for protection in up to 127 countries.
Chile becomes the 5th Latin American country member of the Madrid system (including Brazil, Colombia, Cuba, and Mexico).
