On that regard, India had its mention in the context of counterfeit pharmaceutical products, packaging’s and piracy. Policy and custom efforts are showing positive results, for example, the number of customs procedures for pharmaceutical products between 2019 and 2020 increased from 192 to 600.
Furthermore, India proved considerable progress in this sector showing a promising prospect when it comes to protect and enforce intellectual property rights in the country.
