Changes in enforcement of IPR in the IP Law of Vietnam

Vietnam has revised quite a lot of provisions with respect to enforcement of intellectual property rights in the Third Amendment to the 2005 IP Law (the “2022 IP Law”) just passed by the National Assembly on June 16, 2022. The 2022 IP Law replaces the 2009 First Amendment and the 2019 Second Amendment to the 2005 IP Law (the “2005 IP Law”) to comply with the CPTPP, EVFTA and RCEP.
